ALBtelecom reconfirms itself as the leading company of internet service in Albania. After having a serious investement to increase the service capacity and quality, ALBtelecom is now the preferred company of Albanians for the internet service. Director General of ALBtelecom, Mustafa Resit Akdogan, said during a press release that the company has made several investements for the internet service. According to him the interest and reaction of consumers was huge after the promoting campaign. “I can confirm to you to my proud that right now that we are the first operator in market as well as for the internet service in Albania. During the last 90 days the number of subscribers which have chosen our service is increased 500 per cent.
ALBtelecom which offers the most secure, fast and high quality internet service, is actually the first operator”, said Akdogan. Director General of ALBtelecom added that from 17 till 19 the clients will profit free modem and installation tariff and that`s because of the great interest expressed by the clients to have ADSL internet service
Meanwhile the company has planned to offer to market other internet services satisfying as such all the categories of clients. Concerning the internet service said Akdogan, ALBtelecom will have social projects in this field. “We do not consider internet service simply as a business, but we have social projects in this field. We are processing on common projects with Ministry of Education and Tirana Municipality.In the future we will have pilot classes for the promotion of internet service technology. In this way the children will have the possibility of internet contact and technological development through it since childhood”, he said.
In the framework of social responsibility, the disabled children will profit from by project whereas cooperation is going on with the university as in the case of agreement with Epoka University for internet service and technology in the auditorium.The internet service will be one of the key issues that ALBtelecom will be focused during the first quarter of year 2009. The company goal according to Akdogan consists in the offering of this service to all the public, institutions and businesses enabling extra services as well in this field. The offer operated in the market by ALBtelecom, according to Akdogan are the best whereas the service quality and speed is incomparable in the market.
Serious investements according to Akdogan are the investements in fix telephone network where Tirana and Durresi are given the priority to offer fix telephone service. The work except in these two cities is also going on in the all regions of the country. “In Tirana are the zones Laprakës, Freskut, and Rrugës 5 Maji, where will start the offering of new numbers from 15 January and the citizens of Tirana can apply from now to have this service. All the sales centers are at disposal to offer all the necessary service.”, said the Director General of ALBtelecom.
After the privatization, the company has taken all the proper measures to invest in order to improve the care for the client and shorten the procedures of subscription both for internet and fix telephone services. According to Akdogan all the practices of services toward the client will change step by step, and it is true that the client can be supplied with the desired service within the day in regions of existing technical possibilities.
