Director General of ALBtelecom, Mustafa Resit Akdogan, expressed in his press review that the company has prepared a very special package for all public section employees as it is promised before. Akdogan said that there are around 105 thousand employees of Albanian public administration in central and local level which will have the possibility to profit by the special offer for this category. He also said that the goal of the company is the enabling of best possible conditions for all administration employees through offers. “All public administration employees of central and local level will have the possibility to profit for free the modem and installation tariff starting from 1 February 2009 till 28 February 2009. It is important that this category of people will profit not only the free modem and installation fee but also a 50 per cent discount of subscription fee for the first six months. I wish that all public administration employees will profit from this compaign.”, he saidi.

Meanwhile, ALBtelecom marks also another important achievement of internet service. The company has lately win the right to offer internet service for postuniversity system in Albania. According to the project, there are 2117 elementary and high schools in the country which will have internet service to be provided by ALBtelecom. The selection was made the Ministry of Education and ALBtelecom has presented the besty offer winning as such the right to offer the service. “Another important Another important point that I want to share with you is the fact that ALBtelecom is contributing in the Albanian education. The bid opened by Ministry of Education to offer internet service for 2117 has been won by ALBtelecom. All those elementary and high level schools will get to know the internet service within the year 2009”, said the Director General of ALBtelecom. He further promised that ALBtelecom has foreseen to finish the project for 1 thousand elementary and high level schools within the first quarter of this year.

Director General of ALBtelecom, Akdogan, also expressed that ALBtelecom will offer tariff discount from 10 up to 25% for international calls and calls toward mobile operators starting from 1 March 2009. “Because of ties with Albania that albanian immigrant living and working abroad do have, it is understandable that the majority of phone calls are toward numbers of Italy, Greece, France, Germany and USA etj. Out tariffs toward those countries are lower than all mobile operators and other operators and it is 1/3 of tariff offered by other operators. We will make possible that price of call with Italy, France, Germany, USA etc to be 17 Lekë/min”, said Akdogan.
