In the framework of the program "Quality and Equality in Education" was signed at the Ministry of Education and Science, Internet Service Installation Contract in all elementary and high schools with the presence of Minister of Education and Science Mr. Fatos Beja and Director of Albtelecom Mr. Mustafa R. Akdogan. Contracts with worth over USD 1 million (the full value USD 1.051.814.40) will provide Internet service in the next three months all the elementary and high schools in every district of the country.
Mr.Beja, the Minister, said that with this contract is concluded an important phase of the major project of MASH, TIK-schools. "With the installation of the Internet in a short-time period, said Minister - will be used thousands of computers that we have distributed the last days in all schools of Albania. It is really an achievement for students of Albania, for their family members, for all of us, as citizens. We want that our children to be in the in the van of the European countries today.
We are happy that we managed to sign a contract with very favorable conditions for MASH and with a company that we believe will fulfill all obligations in the contract and in such a way that all students benefit from this service. I want to congratulate the General Director of Albtelecom Company, which has won this tender by a large margin from the second position. At the same time I hope that the implementation of the contract will be successful til the end. "
While Mr. Akdogan, after thanking them for their collaboration with MASH said: "I am very honored and very happy that we are the winners of this tender and will contribute to the modernization of the Albanian educational system. One of the missions of Albtelecom is to serve the educational system, the Albanian school in general. As Mr. Minister mentioned earlier, we will try that in record time, send Internet service in all schools. We will try to make touchable for all Albanian students, one of the realities of 21th century, that is the Internet technology, cooperating closely with MASH to implement this project successfully".
