About 100 academics from 15 different countries gathered for the international conference on “Civil Engineering Challenges”, at Epoka University. This conference, held between May 19-21, was a cooperation of the Academy of Sciences, Polytechnic University of Tirana and Gaziantep University of Turkey.

Rectors, academics and experts in the construction field presented the actual problems of this industry. This year, Epoka University, with the support of three companies, Albtelecom, Eagle Mobile and BKT, has organized 4 international conferences.

Attending the conference were personalities such as the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Tirana, Mr. Sevilir Asan Hasan, Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr. Ernest Noka, Rector of the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Mr. Jorgaq Kaçani, President of the Academy of Sciences, Mr. Gudar Beqiraj, Rector of the University Pakmukkale Hüseyin Bagci.

Afterwards, academics participating in this conference, had a guide in the most scenic areas with traditions in the art of construction, as in Kruje, Shkodra, Vau i Dejes hydropower, etc., with the support of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile companies.
