Dr. Coskun wishes the orphan children for the end-of-year holidays

ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile reaffirm their support to vulnerable groups through special scholarships for orphan children, a project initiated more than two years ago. On the occasion of the end-of-year holidays , the General Director of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile, Dr. Orhan Coskun received in his office at the company's new premises, 20 pupils and students who receive scholarships from both companies in the context of social projects in support of education. Since two years now, the two companies support with scholarships 20 students in the best schools and universities of the country.

In his welcome speech the General Director of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile, Dr. Orhan Coskun, expressed satisfaction for the success achieved by the students and reiterated that the two companies will continue to support the Albanian education and especially the vulnerable groups through specific projects. He said that such meetings with students throughout the year and more so in a holiday season, show the importance that we attach to education.

Dr. Coskun said that ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile are proud of the success of each of the students with scholarship support. "So far we have invested more than 150 million Euros in the modernization of the technology of both companies in order to offer contemporary services and facilitating the communication for all Albanians, but the most important and valuable investment for us is the scholarship support of students through social projects. “I am convinced that each of you, regardless of the branch in which you will graduate, will have a very important role in the development of the country, serving it in the best way possible" he said. Mr. Coskun talked personally to each of the students, asking them about their academic performance and potential problems.

In his conversation with the students, Mr. Coskun highlighted the importance of the good academic results in everyone's future. In conclusion, he congratulated the students for the holidays, for a more prosperous new year together with their families. Also on behalf of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile, Mr. Coskun handed out a gift to each of the students.

On their behalf, the students thanked the General Director of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile for the continuing support of both companies, and expressed their satisfaction for the reception in his office.

ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile in the framework of Social Responsibility Projects have dedicated year 2011 to education. Under the slogan "Hand in hand with education" since the beginning of the year, the two companies have organized and supported a range of educational activities.
