Eagle Mobile and ALBtelecom support the annual initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science for the reward of graduates, teachers and best pre-university students. In the ceremony held on this occasion, the two companies have donated 25 latest technology computers for 25 brilliant students of Matura 2011.

The gifts were distributed by the General Director of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile, Dr. Orhan Coskun, Minister of Education and Science, Myqerem Tafaj and other senior executives of the ministry. The support of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile is part of the companies’ Social Responsibility "Year of Education".

In his welcoming speech at the ceremony of the Prize and Gifts distribution, the General Director of ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile, Dr. Orhan Coskun said that the reward of distinguished students and teachers is an important event. According to him, through continuous investments both companies have enabled the use of the internet service in every corner of Albania by means of a modern technological structure. In addition, Mr. Coskun said that "for us the Albanian pupils and students are very important."

According to him, the support to the educational system is an important part of the projects of both companies. “In the future we will invest even more to create further opportunities for Internet service access. Today, through technology the students can have better access to information and materials needed in education. We are pleased to donate computers to the best 25 students of State Matura 2011, in order to provide them facilities and possibilities of internet service,” said Dr. Orhan Coskun.

During his speech, the Minister of Education and Science Mr. Myqerem Tafaj thanked Eagle Mobile and ALBtelecom for their support and ongoing projects in the field of education. According to him, all these talents and also those who will follow in the future will continue to be supported by the Ministry of Education. During the ceremony the best teachers of 2011 were awarded with prestigious prizes.

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) projects of both ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile Company for 2011 have been focused on education under the slogan “Hand in hand with Education”. The two companies will soon announce the new priority project for 2012.
