Help Desk Specialist

Purpose of the position:

Monitoring and maintaining the company computer systems, installing and configuring hardware and software, and solving technical problems. Providing technical support for end users in all company locations and ensuring the whole company devices are running smoothly.

Duties

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners;
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests;
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be through ticketing system or over the phone);
  • Setting up accounts for new users;
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary;
  • Testing new technology;

Skills

  • Very good understanding of IT Support services;
  • A technical, logical thought process;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines;
  • An ability to priorities and delegate;
  • A keen eye for detail;
  • Ability to work under pressure and with high workload;
  • Very good command of English and Albanian languages;

Experience

  • At least one year of previous job experience;

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering or IT;
