Network Monitoring Specialist

Purpose of Position:

Real time alarm monitoring and initiate troubleshooting process for all the GSM, Fix and IT Networks, System and equipment

Main Tasks

  • Notify all related parts for all the faults via phone, e-mail, and trouble ticket
  • Establishes crisis calls and calls in the appropriate and management when necessary
  • Provides a shift handover for the oncoming shift and managers
  • Informing network failures and service outage to relevant people in the company
  • Provide report to internal related parties and external contractors
  • Provides a shift handover for the oncoming shift and managers
  • Performs Quality Control checks on results of production processes to ensure accurate report generation
  • Informing network failures and service outage to relevant people in the company

Skills

  • Understanding of RADIUS, DNS, firewall, packet captures, VM, TCP/IP, VLAN, WLAN, VPN and WIFI protocols and technologies.
  • Good knowledge of methods for delivering telecommunication services like LAN L2/L3, Ethernet SDH etc.
  • Very Good knowledge of English language
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able and willing to work in team
  • Availability to work with shifts

Experience

  • 1 year of experience in telecommunications industry.

Education

  • University degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering or IT.
